Job Description:

Epidemiological studies:
Lead the design and implementation of epidemiologic strategies
Design, perform and interpret epidemiological studies
Lead the provision of epidemiological support to new drugs to help a successful drug development process and to marketed drugs to ensure the safe use and to extend the life cycle of the drugs
Risk Management and Benefit-Risk Assessment:
Conduct epidemiological analysis for signal evaluation and interpretation
Prepare epidemiologic sections of the Risk Management Plan(s) pertaining to drug safety
Plan and design post-approval safety studies and studies to assess the effectiveness of risk minimization measures in accordance with the Risk Management Plan
Design and perform quantitative benefit-risk assessments to support the overall evaluation of benefit-risk profiles of Sanofi drugs
Protection of patients' safety and reduction of risks to patients who use Sanofi
Products
Management of epidemiological data:
Identify and determine the best epidemiological data sources relevant for the questions being investigated and to make sure that drug safety issues are addressed in the most cost-efficient, scientifically sound, and timely fashion.
Epidemiological Expert:
Be a point of contact for epidemiological support in company notably for the GSOs and the
RMP Coordinators. Provide in-house epidemiological expertise to adequately address requests and queries from regulators, healthcare providers, and company colleagues.
Intelligence:
For new methods, databases, Epidemiology software packages/ tools, and Epidemiology-related regulatory guidance
In depth knowledge of pharmacoepidemiology methodologies and data sources
Capability to clearly communicate complex epidemiologic issues to both the scientific
community and the general public
Demonstrated ability to formulate investigative plan and capability to work in crisis
situations.
Teamwork and interpersonal skills and proven management skills.
Fluent in English
