We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to initiate scientific dialogue within the therapeutic area of urology through scientific discussions with clinical physicians, staff and other stakeholders on behalf of our client.

This exciting opportunity is with QuintilesIMS who has partnered with Avadel Specialty Pharmaceuticals to build an entirely new commercial and medical organization to support the pending launch and future development of their new product. This new product, once available, will be the first and only product approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of nocturia due to nocturnal polyuria. Nocturia is a medical condition which results in frequent nighttime urination, which may prevent patients from experiencing a normal, restful sleep cycle. Nocturia is associated with a number of co-morbidities and health-related consequences, and is often misdiagnosed and undertreated.

The MSL will be responsible for developing a broad and in-depth understanding of the current and potential future use of this product. This requires good knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines and scientific publications as well as competitors' medical and marketing activities.

Our successful candidates will have a doctorate level degree, ideally in Pharmacy, and will have worked within the Pharmaceutical industry as an MSL or in a Medical Affairs position. Qualifications: 

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:
Advanced Degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or Advance Practice Nurse) from an accredited college/university required. In lieu of the prior qualifications, additional consideration of a Urology certified RN with 3-5 years industry experience is acceptable.
3 years of industry experience preferred
Urology experience and relationships with urology KOLs is preferred
experience with academic institutions, IHS and hospitals, and clinical trial experience preferred
MSL experience preferred
Proven track record of success
Frequent overnight travel required
Experience of making scientific presentations to senior medical groups
