Job Description:


Responsible for managing the process of obtaining external services to assist the continued development of all products within FIPCUS Development as well as providing supplemental support for other requirements withing FIPCUS organization. Manage study/program specific clinical outsourcing, vendor sourcing, vendor selection/award process in accordance with SOPs, GCP and compliance policies and regulations.


•Solid Clinical Study background. Understand scientific projects. Fundamental understanding of Outsourcing requirements for clinical research to support outsourcing and contracting needs.
•Experience with Request for Proposal (RFP) process, vendor contracts/budgets. Experience interacting with vendors.
•Assist Outsourcing Manager coordinate and guide outsourcing activities for Clinical Project teams.
•Utilize outsourcing process to develop documents: RFP, SOW, Transfer of Obligation Chart, Payment schedules, Kickoff Meetings, Bid Defense Meetings, Agendas, etc..
•Facilitates evaluation and selection of potential vendors through effective bidding process & capabilities presentations. Participates in scheduling, organizing and facilitating kickoff /bid defense meetings. Maintain and manage relationships with contracted vendors throughout life cycle of clinical project.
•Support Project teams: quality and timeliness of deliverables (outsourcing); gain understanding of the study details/design, scope of work.
•Responsible for managing the generation, negotiation and execution of vendor contracts and budgets. Collaborate with the internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance and Finance) to ensures formal review, approval and signing
•Reviews and analyzes documents to ensure alignment with company objectives. Act as primary contact with vendors for negotiation of the scope of work, study assumptions and budgets



•Requires a B.S./B.A. in Business and/or Science field.
•3+ years Outsourcing experience
•Pharmaceutical (Clinical Research) is preferred
•RFP Process experience.
•Experience negotiating vendor contract and budget.
•Basic understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines is preferred.
•Demonstrates experience in working on multiple priorities consecutively and sequentially and meeting quality standard for accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness.Organized & detail oriented.
•Strong interpersonal skills.
•Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving dynamic environment.
•Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
•Ability to establish & manage personal timelines for assigned work.
•Strong communication skills: oral and written
•Some travel (may be required.)
