Job Description:

Responsibilities:

•Monitor and manage Medical Information (MI) management process, vendors, and Medical Affairs programs/projects
•Serve as liaison and partner between Medical Information and internal business partners including HEOR, Quality, Pharmacovigilance, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Information Technology and other relevant functions in the organization as needed.
•Serve as expert in therapeutic areas covered by Ferring products and attend medical/scientific meetings/conventions as a Ferring Medical Affairs representative
•Set the policies and directions for activities to be conducted by the Medical Information Call Center (MICC)
•Develop and execute internal and MICC product, disease state and medical content documents training to ensure Ferring personnel are equipped to handle questions and responses associated with all Ferring products
•Create and manage Medical Affairs related SOPs and ensure compliance with internal/external regulations
•Evaluate published medical and scientific literature on Ferring and competitive products; review internal/external literature to stay abreast of med/market trends
•Communicate information gathered and researched from various sources to appropriate internal functions and roles
•Develop and maintain up-to-date medical documents, including medical content letters, FAQs, Dossiers, etc., for all Ferring products
•Maintain and up-date the internal Medical Affairs SharePoint site
•Provide periodic reporting and ad hoc query results to internal Business units
•Analyze medical information metrics and generate content based on trends and share appropriately with management
•Assist in development and facilitate review of internal/field medical affairs slides decks and materials
•Management of pharmacy preceptorship programs and patient adherence programs
•Participate in Legal Medical Regulatory review committee and facilitation of Medical Affairs initiated projects when necessary
•Participate in new systems implementations and ongoing maintenance of current systems to improve efficiency

Qualifications: 

•PharmD and/or B.S with a minimum of 8+ years medical information experience required in pharmaceutical industry
•Minimum of 2 years people management experience
•Must possess an in-depth understanding of human physiology/pharmacology and integrative organ systems;
•Advanced computer skills necessary
•Excellent organizational skills; excellent attention to detail.
•Proven successful experience working in a high-paced, multidisciplinary, pharmaceutical environment;
•Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
