Our lead product candidate is ataluren for the treatment of patients with genetic disorders due to a nonsense mutation. Ataluren is in clinical development for the treatment of nonsense mutation Duchenne muscular dystrophy (nmDMD). Ataluren has been approved under the trade name Translarna™ in the European Union for ambulatory patients with nmDMD who are 5 years and older.

Job Description:

The Contract SharePoint Architect is responsible for the execution of the overall strategy development of the architecture for our SharePoint environments. This includes, but may not be limited to, the solution architecture, administration, governance, development, internal customer support and training for site administrators.
The incumbent leads and contributes to the architectural design, development, customization and integration efforts of SharePoint solutions. This involves identifying, documenting, and refining business and system requirements based on dialogue and interaction with end users. Upon finalization of these requirements, designs appropriate architecture and develops the SharePoint-based solutions that meet the specified business needs as per project/action plan(s) to ensure solutions are implemented on schedule.
The Contract SharePoint Architect is the primary point of contact between end users and the Information Technology (IT) group. He/She also contributes subject matter expertise and provides mentorship and training to end users and IT team members.
The Contract SharePoint Architect supports adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as appropriate.

Primary duties/responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, implements and/or enhances SharePoint-based solutions to meet on-going and/or new business requirements. Ensures business process workflows are designed and developed in a manner that provides for further expansion of SharePoint-based solutions. Develops project/action plans and monitors implementation action items to ensure on-time delivery.

• Analyzes existing technical and business processes and current technology solutions, if any. Documents business and system requirements and ensures end user alignment with functional requirements documentation.

• Identifies business and system process improvement opportunities including process automation and data integration with other systems. Collaborates cross-functionally to define, develop and implement application interfaces.

• Functions as an internal SharePoint Subject Matter Expertise and recommends best-practice solutions.

• Ensures the stability of the SharePoint environment.

• Oversees data integrity and consistency.

• Trouble shoots and optimizes system performance within SharePoint Online environment.

• Provides end user training and support and ensures that users adopt new or enhanced functionality. Mentors business users and IT team members in new SharePoint features as they become available.

• Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operating and using SharePoint functionality.

• Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.

Qualifications: 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED

* Minimum level of education and years of relevant work experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g. computer science, engineering, etc.) and a minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment AND a minimum of 5 years of experience as the principle resource for a large-scale SharePoint deployments OR equivalent experience and/or education.

* Special knowledge or skills required.

• Demonstrated expertise and hands-on execution of successful implementations of SharePoint Online and Nintex Online in corporate environments. This includes SharePoint governance, defining, implementing and sharing best practices; creating policies and robust operational processes; business process and system analysis; requirements development and documentation; system administration; and end-user mentorship and training.

• Hands-on/Demonstrated development experience with tools including, but not limited to, SharePoint Designer, Nintex Forms and Workflows.

• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Templates, Master Pages, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and security.

• Hands-on experience with collaborative authoring using simultaneous editing in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point documents.

• Demonstrated experience with the integration of SharePoint and Nintex with DocuSign.

• Hands-on experience using JavaScript and jQuery for adding custom functionality in SharePoint.

• Advanced knowledge of business workflows and an in-depth understanding of the capabilities of Workflow Foundation.

• Demonstrated ability to interact with various business units, gather functional and technical requirements and leverage IT capabilities to deliver solutions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members.

• Analytical thinker with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

• Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.

• Project Management experience including PMP certification

• MCSE: SharePoint Solutions Expert or MCSE Productivity Solutions Expert.
