SD-101, a product candidate in late-stage development, is a potential first-to-market therapy for the rare genetic connective tissue disorder Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). We are leveraging our biologics and Chaperone-Advanced Replacement Therapy (CHART™) platform technologies to develop novel enzyme replacement therapy (ERT) products for Fabry disease, Pompe disease, and other Lysosomal Storage Disorders (LSDs). Our lead biologics program is ATB200/AT2221, a uniquely engineered Pompe disease ERT that will be administered in combination with a pharmacological chaperone.

Job Description:

Position Summary

The Payroll Associate will be primarily responsible to process and maintain all aspects of the US based compensation for Amicus. This position will report to the Senior Analyst, Finance to support the overall US based compensation objectives. Ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with an attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Candidate must also be proficient in Word and Excel.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely US, multi-state payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and company policies.
• Responsible for ensuring all timecards are compiled and approved in order to process payroll timely.
• Research, troubleshoot and respond to a wide range of inquiries related to payroll and time & attendance.
• Partner with HR Team on any issues with “leave” pay to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the reporting of equity based compensation (stock options, restricted stock units) within the payroll processing cycle.
• Responsible for processing all staffing transactions (new hires, terms, etc.) into the ADP system with proper backup documentation needed for processing payroll.
• Provide customer service to all levels of employees in both corporate HQ and offsite locations.
• Make requests for stop payments, process off cycle payments and reimbursements as needed.
• Comply at all times and in all situations with the Sarbanes Oxley policies of Amicus.
• Maintain the equity based compensation transactions within the Morgan Stanley system.
• Assist with projects as needed.

Qualifications: 

Requirements

• Associate degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Fundamentals Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred, but not required.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years as a Payroll Practitioner with experience in U.S. payroll.
• Experience in ADP payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of payroll & tax regulations/processes.

• PC Proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Team oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
