Responsible for supporting all aspects of the Sales’ organization’s activities. Incumbent will engage in the development and implementation of tools and processes that will enable higher levels of sales productivity. Incumbent will also assist with project execution in order to improve the productivity of the entire Sales Organization. This role will be aligned to a specific Sales Operations, and a specific sales franchise, at the discretion of the Director. Incumbent will assist sales teams with operational tasks, such as data analysis, policy execution, and provide basic managerial support. The position will allow the development of ad hoc analyses to aid in the understanding of quotas, distributor, and/or sales rep performance as well as competitor impact. Additional responsibilities include identifying operational efficiencies, and improving processes.

Responsibilities:
• High level communication and interaction with field sales and home office personnel
• Field expense report review and audit
• Master calendar management of reporting and other key events
• Contract management and processing
• New hire communication inclusive of field reporting system set-up and creation of log-in credentials
• Executive and Field level sales reporting
• Incentive Compensation creation and tracking in partnership with Regional Directors
• Ordering and shipping of initial new hire training material
• Ensure communication and documentation of product training certification for credentialing process with Reptrax and/or Vendormate
• Manage alignments process for supporting sales franchise
• Incentive compensation and contest management
• Create and manage projects designed to make our field sales more efficient and effective
• Perform in-depth assessments of key/strategic accounts, in order to develop a deep understanding of the accounts’ decision-making and support network
• Support and track the sales process across sales teams to enable RBD teams to more easily progress through the sales and management process

Competencies required:
• Experience “managing up”
• High level of project management experience
• Sales analytics and reporting
• Ability to consolidate large volumes of information into executive summaries
• Ability to function independently, and as a team member
• Comfortable in small fast changing environment
• Ability to track and follow-through on multiple projects at the same time

Qualifications: 

Skills & Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
• 7 - 10 years' pharmaceuticals industry experience, sales operation and analytics experience a plus
• 2 – 3 year sales analytics, desired
• Pharmaceutical sales experience is desired, but not required
• Familiarity with Veeva and Salesforce.com platforms
• Concur or other expense reporting systems experience helpful
• High level of organizational skills
• Strong MS Office – Specifically Word, Excel and Power Point skills

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with a variety of communication styles
• Quantitative ability: capable of providing data and analytics to provide actionable insights desired
• Able to leverage technology to improve sales effectiveness
• Able to support RBD sales process improvements; able to proactively assist with the execution of projects in areas that improve sales productivity and boost growth
• Must be very detailed
• Well organized
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Comfortable presenting to a group
• Ability to teach, coach and train
