In this role, you will lead and direct scientific work to support external methods and projects while ensuring that client programs meet regulatory requirements and meeting defined achievements along the drug development pathway. You will also be expected to: Serve as a scientific lead for non-regulated, GLP-regulated, and GCP-regulated studies, evaluate data and tables to ensure regulatory guidelines and expectations are met. Lead scientific investigations and efforts to troubleshoot and take on assay problems. Serve as the scientific point of contact for the client. Actively identify ways to increase client happiness. Evaluate new proposals for technical feasibility. Participate in client visits as the scientific lead and lead pre initiation meetings, as needed.

**This** **position** **will** **be** **based** **at** **our** **Madison,** **Wisconsin** **facility.** **Relocation** **assistance** **is** **available.**

**Education/Qualifications**

+ At least aBachelor’sdegree in science or a related fieldwith a preference for an advanced degree

+ A minimum of10years ofrelated lab experienceor a higher level of education may be substituted for experience

**Experience**

+ Expertise with LC-MS/MS instrumentation

+ Strong working knowledge of currentregulatory guidelines (GLP, GCP)

+ Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a workload for large and complex projects

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail
