Job Description:


Management of Brand Advertising & Promotion Budget

•Ownership of budget tracking, reconciliation, and phasing
•Initiate purchase orders; Receive, process, and log vendor invoices
•Reconcile spend vs. budget per project on a monthly basis in collaboration with external vendors; Identify and address discrepancies
•Prepare and present monthly budget presentations to brand team
•Update spend forecasts and provide to brand team and finance department
•Make recommendations to brand team on areas where there can be additional cost-savings

Gatekeeper of Legal, Medical, Regulatory (LMR) Review of Brand Documents

•In charge of the administration and execution of the LMR process (including managing agency submissions, ensuring incorporation of feedback, and preparing final file for distribution)
•Ownership of live LMR meetings including moderation, facilitation of conflict resolution, obtaining comments/ approvals from all participants and documenting changes live in electronic LMR system

Contract Review and Approval Process

•Key point of contact for both external vendors and internal stakeholders for the completion of commercial team contracts (from contract preparation to obtaining appropriate approvals)
•Ownership of all revisions and finalization of contracts

Inventory Fulfillment

•Manage fulfillment house inventory monthly; In charge of setting up new items into inventory
•Prepare inventory trend reports for the marketing teams and make recommendations on re-order levels
•Manage drop-shipments of new pieces to the field

Marketing Projects

•Controller in Fair Market Value (FMV) determination process (for HCP consultants)
•Editor and content manager of BU homepage within Ferring Connect Intranet site, including development of content, layout design ideas, and incorporation of tools & links
•Drive Commercial Operations brand-independent marketing projects
•Work independently with in-house creative Studio to update marketing collateral
•Manage conference/convention schedule including registration, logistics, and booth material fulfillment
•Prepare and send out weekly field force communications
•Develop and implement marketing curriculum for new Marketing Services Specialists and Interns.

Vendor Management

•Manage the relationship between the brand teams and all external vendors
•Prepare and solicit feedback on quarterly vendor scorecards; Make recommendations to brand team on potential new vendors; and areas for vendor improvement
•Lead the annual vendor review process
•Initiate request for proposal (RFP) process in collaboration with fulfillment



•Bachelor’s degree
•Degree in Marketing, Communications or related area is preferred

Experience and Skills:

•Excellent project management skills/ Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines required
•Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with strong ability to communicate effectively
•2+ years of previous experience in a marketing/sales environment and/or medical communications or pharmaceutical industry experience a plus.
•Experience in managing production vendors/advertising agencies and knowledge of digital/print production
•Must be able to think and act independently while contributing to the overall team by actively providing solutions and recommendations to make current processes run more efficiently
•Proven ability to influence others

Computer Skills:

•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Prior knowledge of Zinc Review System a plus
