Ataluren has been approved under the trade name Translarna™ in the European Union for ambulatory patients with nmDMD who are 5 years and older.

Job Description:

The Contract Systems Analyst, Great Plains is responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of customized solutions for PTC’s Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

The incumbent works cross-functionally with internal departments and external resources on ERP-related issues.

The Contract Systems Analyst, Great Plains supports adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as appropriate.

Primary duties/responsibilities:
•Designs GP functionality. This includes active engagement with business end users to identify and document functional and technical requirements.

•Documents system design specifications.

•Develops and implements new and enhanced functionality to meet on-going and new business requirements. This includes the development, documentation and execution of test plans and scripts.

•Provides routine system administration support (e.g. adding/deleting users, permissions management, etc.).

•Collaborates with business users to deliver enhanced reporting capabilities.

•Identifies business and system process improvement opportunities including process automation and data integration with other systems. Collaborates cross-functionally to define, develop and implement application interfaces.

•Investigates, analyzes, diagnoses and resolves GP-related issues within various business units.

•Provides end user training and support and ensures that users adopt new functionality.

•Interacts with IT and business team members on all GP-related matters.

•Ensures the stability of the GP technical environment. Oversees data integrity and consistency.

•Trains Accounting team in new Dynamics GP features as they become available.

•Develops standard procedures for operating and using GP functionality.

•Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.



* Minimum level of education and years of relevant work experience.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management or other related disciplines with a minimum of 4 years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP in a corporate environment.

* Special knowledge or skills needed and/or licenses or certificates required.
•Demonstrated, hands-on experience administering and managing Great Plains 2013 or higher.

•Solid and demonstrated understanding of finance and accounting functions.

•Experience with various reporting tools, including but not limited to, SSRS, SmartList, GP reports, Management Reporter.

•Proficient in interacting with various business units, gathering functional and technical requirements and leveraging IT capabilities to deliver solutions.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

•Excellent verbal and written communication and skills.

•Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members.

•Analytical thinker with excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

•Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.

•Experience with ReQlogic.

•Experience with Concur and Adaptive.

•Basic knowledge in creating and modifying Microsoft SQL stored procedures, functions, tables, triggers, views, and reports using Dynamics Great Plains data.

•Basic knowledge of MS SQL.

•Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical company experience.
