Job Description:


This position reports to the VP, US Sales and provides administrative support to the Sales Department. Time permitting, this role will also provide support services to Marketing as well as Commercial Strategy & Operations. Work is generally of an administrative nature involving a blend of professional skill and interpersonal acumen and is frequently time sensitive, confidential and representative of the company to outside parties and is directly related to management policies and general business operations.

• Calendar & Scheduling: Schedules/accepts complex meeting requests -- including teleconferences, video conferences and web conferencing meetings. Arranges for catering and prepares meeting materials. Proactively manages conflicts and follow-up as needed. Proactively schedules routine update meetings.
•Communication/Meetings: Will play an active role in field based sales communication and coordination. This will include meeting coordination and occasionally on-site support for meetings.
•Telephone: Receives and initiates complex and confidential calls. Incumbent will also be a back-up at the reception desk on a rotation basis.
•Financial: Process expense reports (expense report reimbursement). Reviews expense reports for the direct reports to the VP, Sales prior to submission for approvals. Tracks budget and provides support as well as process, assists in tracking invoices and contracts.
•Creation and editing of various internal and external presentation documents (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), ensuring high consistent quality, adherence to Insmed standards, and consistent messaging.
•Miscellaneous administrative necessities and follow up tasks which arise daily (photocopying, filing etc.)


•High School Degree / Bachelor Degree Preferred with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
•Prior experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is highly desired
•Exceptional MS Office skills (with an emphasis on complex document creation/formatting skills) are also required.
•Ability to work in a fast pace environment, manage multiple assignments and responsibilities, flexibility, strong communications and prioritization skills are essential.
•Experience working in a Commercial department is a plus.
