Job Description:

**Job Overview**

In conjunction with the Opportunity Manager in Client Services and Medical Affairs, takes appropriate action to drive the test feasibility process to meet established TAT - (Turn Around Times) for responses. This includes generating and communicating metrics related to new test feasibility requests.

+ Assists Client Service Managers (CSMs) with managing various aspects of quote, proposal and RFI development related to new test feasibility requests.

+ Establishes clear timelines to meet client requirements and anticipates obstacles and provides solutions related to new test feasibility requests

+ Develops appropriate knowledge of the technical and regulatory environments

+ Assists in identifying and resolving issues around client inquiry requirements and Covance capabilities

+ Reviews RFP/quote requests to ensure initial understanding of client requirements

+ Works with Operations, Finance, Account Executives and others to compile proposal text and/or price response

+ Ensures timely and consistent delivery of assigned proposals to clients

+ Performs data entry into SFDC, CMS, and other databases, as appropriate (e.g. updates, proposal number requests and generating both regularly scheduled and impromptu reports)

+ Contact clients with standard inquiries (i.e. clarifying baseline RFP/quote information, proposal delivery logistics, etc)

+ Contributes to assigned process improvement projects and supports implementation when needed


**Minimum Required:**

Bachelors degree in a scientific, business or related field (or equivalent work experience)


**Minimum Required:**

+ 1-3 years of direct CRO/pharma or other business-related experience preferred

+ Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact

+ Demonstrated computer skills – requires excellent MS Office experience (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook)

+ Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize

+ Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills

+ Experience in a scientific or logistics environment is a plus

+ Proven ability to work independently

+ Knowledge of other software applications (i.e. SFDC) preferred

+ Ability to work to deadlines

+ Strong analytical skills

+ Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with clients

+ Positive attitude and sense of urgency
