Job Description:


The Senior Payroll Specialist / Payroll Supervisor is responsible for delivering timely and accurate payroll processes for all North American payroll operations and activities, including the design and operation of a robust internal control environment.

•This position ensures payroll is run accurately, timely and in compliance with all federal, state, local payroll and regulatory requirements.
•Prepares, reconciles and reviews W-2s with other systems working closely with Accounting team to eliminate errors.
• Directs and coordinates the design and implementation of payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now) as well as the design, implementation, and administration of payroll policies, procedures and regulations and the approval of all master payroll calendars and processing schedules.
•Develops and manages budgets for payroll operations and is required to report regularly on financial performance along with key performance metrics.

•Works closely with the Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, and Internal Controls teams to ensure all financial controls, reporting activities and payroll systems are accurate and efficient.
•Provides forecasted payroll information to Finance team through partnership with Talent Acquisition.
•Reviews time & expense reports within Concur and assists with system administration.
•Fosters an effective relationship and work closely with the leadership team at ADP to ensure strong service delivery and compliance within the parameters of the Company's contractual arrangements.
•Develops proposals for new system implementation, system improvements or process improvement opportunities.
•Owns the entire payroll process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing, delivery and reconciliation of all payrolls.
•Directs and oversees the team's production of all semi-monthly and special compensation payroll runs.
•Oversees and participates in pre- and post-payroll auditing procedures and troubleshoots anomalies.
•Ensures delivery of local compliance reporting, such as tax filing, pension, and garnishment requirements.
•Oversees tax and regulatory reporting, quarter end and year end payroll activities, including wage and hour laws, unemployment, and all other required submissions.
•Plans and coordinates the production and distribution of all employee tax statements and notifications as required by local law.


Bachelor's degree preferred.
•Certified Payroll Professional (CPP/APA) certification highly preferred; ADP Certified Payroll Specialist (ADP-CPS) designation preferred.
•Prior experience leading payroll for a company with field-based employees and/or multiple locations required.
•Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, with significant experience in leading a multi-national payroll team or function. Must have exposure to US multi-state taxation procedures.
•Experience in implementation and management of payroll systems, and payroll process redesign/ transformation preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to manage projects and communicate effectively (written and oral) needed.
•High level analytical, problem-solving and multi-tasking capabilities required.
•Strong process management and business process analysis competencies and demonstrated ability to support complex HR/Payroll models.
•Requires minimal travel (approximately 10%).
