Job Description:


A unique opportunity to enable the successful first commercial launch of an innovative biotech organization, dedicated to improving the lives of patients battling serious and rare diseases, with analytics-driven insights to inform strategic decision making.

The position will be part of the Commercial Strategy & Operations department and will have the primary responsibility for commercial analytics across HCP, payer, and patient customer segments. The individual will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Commercial Strategy & Operations, and Finance colleagues. The position will report to the Director, Analytics & Forecasting and will be based in our Bridgewater, NJ headquarters location.


•Track market landscape (prevalence, diagnosis & treatment rates, etc.) and brand performance metrics
•Monitor key customer-specific KPIs across segments: HCP, payer, and patient
•Identify opportunities to enhance performance; e.g. pull-through, treatment adherence, resource allocation, co-pay program
•Lead/participate in customer (HCP, payer, patient) segmentation, promotion effectiveness, and sales forecasting projects
•Develop and maintain a suite of standardized commercial reporting, and address ad hoc reporting needs for commercial leadership
•Partner with sales and marketing to design, implement and evaluate brand tactics
•Participate in cross-functional initiatives; e.g. Analytics & Information Management


•Minimum 7 years of industry experience with a minimum of 3 years of commercial analytics experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare consulting
•Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred
•Knowledge of pharmaceutical data (e.g., sales, specialty pharmacy, payer, promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data)
•Experience with pharmaceutical launches and commercialization of pharmaceutical products – orphan/specialty drug launch experience preferred
•High proficiency in SAS, R, or other similar statistical programming software
•High proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint)
•Knowledge of advanced analytical modeling
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to work cross-functionally
•Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
•Self-motivated, with a sense of urgency
•Creative problem-solving ability required
•Ability to travel approximately 10% of work time
