Purpose
The Novo Nordisk Inc. (NNI) Campaign Relationship & Operations Owner acts as a service provider interface for NNI and manages a resource pool that builds, executes, and delivers campaigns for the NNI Campaign Planning Managers via the Adobe Campaign platform. The incumbent supports the service provider to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and quality standards while providing direction on Campaign Operations procedures and guidance to optimize campaign builds and leverage Campaign Management best practices. The NNI Campaign Relationship & Operations Owner collaborates with the Campaign Operations Specialist Lead to manage Specialist work intake, deliverables, and resource allocation. They also support departmental status and operational reporting and assist in the generation and distribution of standard and ad hoc reports.


Relationships
Reports to the Director of Digital Strategy and oversees Marketing Service Provider for Campaign Operations Specialists. The position interacts with multiple NNI internal functions, such as Campaign Planning, Brand Managers, Digital Strategy, Campaign QA, Strategic Capabilities, Emerging Technologies, Marketing Operations, IT, as well as external operational vendors and agencies.


Essential Functions
Lead the Campaign Operations Specialist team that builds, executes, and tests campaigns for the NNI Campaign Planning Manager via the Adobe platform. Collaborate with the Campaign Operations Specialist Lead to manage Specialist work intake, deliverables, prioritize project deliverables / intake, and resource allocation. Maintain documentation of business processes and the artifacts required to support campaign operations and hand-offs to Campaign Operations Specialists and Campaign Quality teams. Support the service provider to establish KPIs, SLAs and quality standards for campaign execution and cost management. Provide direction on Campaign Operations procedures and guidance to optimize campaign builds, leveraging Campaign Management best practices. Support departmental status and operational reporting and assist in the generation and distribution of standard and ad hoc reports. Serve as an NNI strategic interface and single point-of-contact for service provider relationships. Exhibit understanding of Adobe CM capabilities, identifying new needed system features and communicating systems functionality and upgrades to the Digital Marketing organization. Keep stakeholders informed of developments in the organization or changes to business processes that might impact campaign operations. Set the strategy for the managed services provider organization and align with the vision for the Campaign Operations organization. Conduct performance management to lead vendor roles across the organization. Partner closely with the Senior Manager of Campaign Planning to set vendor management and working norms defined from external best practices and internal benchmarks. Provide vendor (MSP) oversight to ensure vendors are meeting established quality assurance metrics and KPIs. Create strategic and advisory interfaces to ensure coordination between vendors and Operations Specialists. Own change management and best practices for the Adobe platform and disseminate areas of continuous improvement information to the organization. Deliver all Campaign Operations Specialist responsibilities. Define, document and maintain business processes (work instructions, job aides, process swim lanes, project plan templates, etc.). Collaborate with Campaign Planning Team on defining the requirements for new capabilities or tools to improve operational effectiveness. Work with Campaign Planning Managers on the development of campaign learnings and share across the organization. Support enhancements/requirements for Microsoft Project Online, ensuring adherence to business process. Maintain Document Library repository. Support onboarding/training of Specialists & Campaign Planning Managers.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, IT, Digital Marketing or related field
  • 10+ years of patient/Healthcare Professional (HCP) marketing, database marketing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or Campaign Management
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals
  • Prior hands-on experience with operational campaign management programs that involve data integration with digital channels
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-faceted, complex CRM programs both internally and with external partners/suppliers
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior hands-on experience with Adobe Campaign preferred
  • Experience managing offshore resources
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Strong ability to influence external relationships
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
