Job Description:

Position Summary

This position is a good fit if you have a strong financial background and have a passion to explore and grow your expertise in today’s leading financial systems applications. As a member of the Amicus FP&A Team, the Senior Associate, Corporate FP&A Finance Systems will work closely with the FP&A Managers and other members of the Accounting/Reporting team to perform various financial systems tasks and implementations.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Associate, Corporate FP&A Finance Systems is responsible for:
Manage systems administrative duties, including setting up and maintaining entity and account data, and adheres to the proper business reporting hierarchies. Ensure workflow process and systems rules follow the set design.
Assist Financial/System Managers to develop, test, and deploy new financial system products, reports, and processes.
Execute routine ETL and other systems batch processes, and perform data reconciliation process.
Take ownership of questions and technical issues reported by the financial systems users and provide direct support using emails, texting, telephone, or in person.
Develop ad hoc or standardized reports within the Dashboard, CMP, or ERP systems directed by financial manager.
Administrative duties on setting and maintaining user rights/securities/permission on set data parameters.
Work with a large volume of data to extract meaningful financial information or trends.
Develops and maintains user instructions, standard operating procedures (SOP) and documentation.

Qualifications: 

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, Accounting or other related fields
At least 3 years of experience in IT, Accounting or Financial Planning & Analysis.
At least 3 years of experience working with Corporate Performance Management (CPM), such as Congos TM, Hyperion, SAP BPC, or Tagetik(most preferred)
At least 2 years of experience working with Corporate ERP system, such as SAP, Oracle, Great Plain, etc.
Training and certifications related to Finance strongly preferred

Experience and Skills
Must have Strong user background in corporate CPM, such as Cognos TM1, Hyperion, SAP BPC, or Tagetik. Administrator background strongly prefer.
Must have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, such as developing Pivot Tables, Formulas (VLOOKUP / INDEX MATCH / SUMIF functions)
Experience in working with financial data and understand its informational values to perform variance analysis
Detail oriented and ability to work with large data set efficiently
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
Team oriented with excellent communication skills
Highly prefer skills in maintaining and debugging system codes, such as VBA and SQL
Prefer Foreign Currency (FX) application experience
Biotech/Pharma industry experience or strong interest in the industry
